Owner Linda Perkins has deep roots in the White Mountain Community. In fact her family enjoys generations of Show Low history, and she can recount local stories passed down to her from before her time. She has been using and growing herbs for her family and friends for nearly twenty years. In addition to a substantial knowledge of natural herbal remedies and symptom specific combinations, and as a former triathlete and lifeguard, she has direct knowledge of sports nutrition and supplementation for optimal wellness and performance.

Linda uses her herbal and nutritional knowledge to provide all the herbs and vitamins from Astragalus to zinc that anyone could desire. If you are unfamiliar with the traditional uses of these herbs, she can inform you or provide books on herbal remedies, or refer you to a Naturopathic doctor.

Every Wednesday during the growing season, Sunshine Herbs sponsors a farmer's market outside the store. Here local farmers sell locally grown produce, eggs, baked goods, honey, and locally produced arts and crafts.
